Our Fibers
The TP Tech product line engages different types of technical fibers, suitable for use in applications requiring high performance or extreme levels of strength.
Types of fibers processed:
- Para Aramid -Standard and High Tenacity Continuous
- High Tenacity Continuous Fibers – among the various types of continuous fibers we have Polyamide , Polyester, Uhmwpe, Vectran
- Xlance Technical Elastomers – chemical and heat resistant
— PROCESS
Flexibility and industrial capacity
We have the flexibility to work on small and large scales. This allows us to be able to develop a product even in small quantities with a minimum initial sampling of one 1kg bobbin.
Once the sampled product has been evaluated and approved, the customer can decide whether to proceed with mass production or not. From there, the industrial-scale production process that can meet any starts with no restriction on quantity.

Our products are designed and developed respecting environmental sustainability, we therefore take into account the impact of both by the use of artificial recycled or recyclable products and of totally natural materials on the environment.
In the production processes of our yarns we favor the use of:
- Recyclable materials that can be put back into production at the end of their lives
- Recycled GRS, derived from polyester specifically from recycling of plastic bottles
- COEX® the technology included in the list of Oeko-Tex® certified products that guarantees the complete naturalness of flame retardant fabrics.

Our history

Torcitura Padana was born in 1966. The company carries out for years classic twisting activities on commision of large groups

In the 1990s the company went directly to the market with its own collections to follow an increasingly demanding and competitive clientele. Technical research and creativity give rise to a new approach to the product and the market.

In 2016 , a marketing and processing division for technical yarns, TPtech, was opened. The goal is to offer its customers an increasingly integrated approach, from research and development to service, in line with the corporate identity.

In 2017 Torcitura Padana acquired InterfilTP, a Como-based company that markets both natural and artificial and synthetic yarns for the apparel sector.

In 2019 , COEX Srl is founded (together with Zanolo spa). The company takes its name from the innovative technology patented worldwide, which makes natural fibers inherently flame retardant without the need to use chemical additives.
